My sweet sweet homeland Jiu Valley, as if you might think this is taken from a tale with dragons and knights and Mountains, oh those Mountains... but no, it's real, the Mountains are real, the dragon is just a passing cloud and we are the knights!
And I? I am a wolf. Awwwwwww!
If I could, I would restore this place to it's former glory 50 years ago.
I know now it's an almost dead region because the mines are closing and people have nowhere to work, and many of them choose to work over the borders of Romania, such as Spain, Germany, England... it's sad to see my brothers and sisters leave this Valley, in such of the so called Romanian dream, to go abroad, work, get rich and return home for a better life... it's never like that.
Many never return to Romania, and... then, there are people like me, who fled from the disaster that threatens Jiu Valley with economy colaps. I fled, but not far, I never went to work abroad, because my destiny keeps me close to my homeland.
This is my home after all, and if I could, if I could have enough power and money I would restore the glory of this God forsaken place, because it deserves better! It deserves to be known that I, never will never forget from where I started!
But the sad truth is, I live now in the middle of Transylvania, 350 km far from Jiu Valley (which is also in Transylvania) and me moving back to my past is not really what I intend if I don't have enough money to make a living is a dead space.
